On Sunday 13 April 2025, from 9 am to 12 pm, the Meran/Merano-Bozen/Bolzano railway line will be interrupted for inspection and maintenance work by the infrastructure manager RFI. During this time, there will be no train service, but a replacement bus service will be provided.
Trains may be cancelled before and after the interruption
Please note that for operational reasons, trains may be cancelled before 9 am and after 12 pm. We recommend that you check timetables in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
Replacement bus service
Two replacement buses are available:
- The “Express” bus will use the MeBo and will stop at Bozen/Bolzano railway station (platform A in G.-Garibaldi-Straße/via G. Garibaldi) and Meran/Merano railway station (platform B, near the underpass), without any intermediate stops.
- The second bus follows the usual route from Meran/Merano (platform B) to Bozen/Bolzano (platform A in G.-Garibaldi-Straße/via G. Garibaldi). This bus serves the usual stops in the stations, except Bozen Süd/Bolzano Sud and Bozen Kaiserau/Bolzano Casanova.
Stops along the route include:
- Siebeneich/Settequerce, the bus will stop at “Schule/Scuola”.
- Gargazon/Gargazzone, the bus stops at “Dorf/Paese”.
The buses are marked with the number B200.

Alternatively, you can take the 201 bus line, which connects Bozen/Bolzano and Meran/Merano.
Bike transport: Not allowed on replacement buses.
