Day passes for transporting bikes

Bicycle transport is subject to a fee and space limitations

If you would like to take your bike on board with you, in addition to your own ticket you will need a day pass for transporting a bicycle. Day passes for bikes can be used for unlimited journeys on the day on which you first activate them. Remember to check in at the start of each journey.

Please note:

  • Due to space restrictions, only a limited amount of bicycles can be taken on public transport. Some bikes are carried free of charge.
  • Südtirol Pass and Euregio Family Pass holders as well as passengers who have activated the payment function of their Südtirol Pass abo+ or Südtirol Pass 65+ do not need to purchase a separate ticket for their bike: They can use their pass to pay for a reduced day rate to transport their bike.

Price: 7 EUR

Where to buy:

Day passes for transporting bikes are also available online on the südtirolmobil app.

Where to use: on regional trains in all of South Tyrol and all the way to Trento; on südtirolmobil cable-car services to Renon/Ritten; on the Mendola/Mendel funicular. Day passes for transporting bicycles can also be used on the separate bike shuttle service that accompanies trains in the Venosta/Vinschgau valley during the summer months.

Separate tickets must be purchased to transport bicycles on cable-car journeys to Colle/Kohlern, Meltina/Mölten, Verano/Vöran and Maranza/Meransen.

Valid on the day on which you first activate it.
