Pilot project a huge success: young people in Caldaro/Kaltern show the older generations how the südtirolmobil app works
It's never too late to learn – and practice really does make perfect. It’s with this motto in mind that a recent intergenerational pilot project in Caldaro/Kaltern saw young people explain to senior citizens how to use the südtirolmobil app, how to plan a journey on a smartphone and what other benefits digital tools and information have to offer in the context of public mobility.
Launched by the local council’s Youth Officer Christoph Pillon and the Caldaro/Kaltern Youth Advisory Counsellor, the initiative was met with an enthusiastic response: The older generations were eager to learn, and the lessons ended with the young teachers issuing their “pupils” a resoundingly good report card. In short: Do try this at home!
