Sunday 15th December 2024 is the deadline for the update of the train and bus timetables. This is when the new public transport timetables come into force.
This year there will be new features especially for Hochpustertal/Alta Pusteria.
What will happen to the timetable?
TRAINS – The most significant change will be a 15-minute advance in the departure times of trains on the Bruneck/Brunico - Innichen/San Candido - Sillian line.
Another change will take place on the Bruneck/Brunico - Innichen/San Candido line, where trains will run every half hour throughout the year.
BUSES – A rail replacement service between Brixen/Bressanone and Bruneck/Brunico will be organised all year round due to the construction work on the Riggertalschleife.
In Hochpustertal/Alta Val Pusteria and Ahrntal/Valle Aurina, bus timetables will be delayed by 15 minutes to ensure connections with train timetables.
