A new payment system is now available on the südtirolmobil app, making the purchase of digital tickets even smoother and faster. This reduces waiting times and eliminates the need for cash.
How does the new EMS payment system work in the app?
With just a few intuitive steps, you'll get to your desired ticket:
1. Select your ticket
Choose the appropriate ticket in the südtirolmobil app, fill in the required fields, and go to "Buy now".
2. Enter the payment method
You can choose from various payment methods – including VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and, starting in March, also Google Pay and PayPal.
If you use Apple Pay or Google Pay, the purchase is processed automatically through your device, with no additional input required. If a payment method is already linked to your device or was used in a previous purchase, you can select it directly along with the stored data.
3. Confirm and complete your transaction
Depending on the payment method selected, you'll need to confirm the transaction and enter any required details. Once this step is successfully completed, your digital ticket will be generated in the "Ticket".
The ticket must then be validated and shown if requested during a check.
With this new feature, the integrated südtirolmobil network is even smarter and meets all modern requirements – offering even more comfort for passengers.
