südtirolmobil: four new points of sale

Bus and train tickets right by your side

Bringing public mobility within easy reach – a key objective not only in the expansion of bus and rail connections throughout South Tyrol: Ticketing, too, is a crucial sector in which we aim to stay close by our passengers’ side. Which is why we’ve now added four more places selling südtirolmobil tickets:

Bolzano/Bozen: Tabaccheria Il Quadrifoglio (tobacconist), Via Cagliari/Cagliaristraße 4;
Merano/Meran: Bar Monopol, Via Parrocchia/Pfarrgasse 9;
Silandro/Schlanders: Trafik Spechtenhauser (tobacconist), Via Principale/Hauptstraße 61;
Salorno/Salurn: Tabaccheria Schgraffer Christine (tobacconist), Via Roma/Romstraße 5.

Thanks to the Ticketing and Sales department at STA – Südtiroler Transportstrukturen AG/Strutture Trasporto Alto Adige SpA –, südtirolmobil tickets are now available from over 40 points of sale in all cities, towns and major villages throughout South Tyrol: They include ticket offices, tobacconist's or newsagent's shops and selected public institutions as well as train stations selling tickets to all means of public transport in all of South Tyrol – and a whopping 160 places offering Mobilcard, bikemobil Card and museumobil Card tickets. Plus, many points of sale also offer services related to Südtirol Pass subscriptions.

Tickets can of course also be bought from the many ticket vending machines available, but some of our passengers and holidaymakers prefer a more in-depth, friendly approach to customer service with advice that’s tailored to their exact needs.

Good to know: In Merano/Meran and Salorno/Salurn in particular, the new sales points are an added level of convenience for our passengers: During the current transition to a more technologically advanced system, ticket vending machines may seem rather scarce in some places. Because their technology is being discontinued, ticket machines in their previous form are no longer available on urban buses in Merano/Meran and at Salorno/Salurn train station. Currently still in development, the new ticketing system will see the launch of a uniform range of new ticket validation devices and yet another milestone: mobile ticketing.
