Südtirol Guest Pass

A single ticket to discover the whole of South Tyrol

Many accommodation establishments in South Tyrol offer their guests the Südtirol Guest Pass: A ticket that allows you to travel comfortably and flexibly on all means of public transportation.

You could receive the Südtirol Guest Pass variant identified as museumobil, which not only includes the use of the südtirolmobil-network, but also allows you to visit numerous museums, art collections and tourist attractions. Ask your accommodation provider or tourist offices for more information.

How does the Südtirol Guest Pass look like?

  1. Paper ticket with a QR code or paper ticket with a magnetic strip, which will be issued by the accommodation facility with the guest name and stay period (maximum 7 days, for longer stays an additional ticket will be issued);
  2. Ticket as digital PDF for mobile devices (smartphones) that you can use directly from your smartphone or print out and take with you in paper form;
  3. Digital pass to be added in the so-called "wallet" on your smartphone (e.g. in Google Wallet, Apple Wallet or a similar mobile app).

Validity: the Südtirol Guest Pass as digital ticket is only available in the participating accommodation establishments and is active for the duration of the guest's stay (from 00:00 on the day of arrival until 24:00 on the day of departure).

How do I use my Südtirol Guest Pass?

At the start of each journey, the paper ticket with a QR code for the Südtirol Guest Pass as well as the digital passes must be validated using the blue validation device on buses, at train stations, and at cable car stations with a simple check-in. The paper ticket with a magnetic strip serves as a visual ticket.

  • Is the Pass valid? A green OK appears on the screen and an audible signal confirms validation.
  • Is the Pass invalid? A negative response will appear on the screen and the ticket will be considered invalid.

Where can I not use my Südtirol Guest Pass?
