Südtirol Guest Pass

A single ticket to discover the whole of South Tyrol

Many accommodation establishments in South Tyrol offer their guests the Südtirol Guest Pass: A ticket that allows you to travel comfortably and flexibly on all means of public transportation.

You could receive the Südtirol Guest Pass variant identified as museumobil, which not only includes the use of the südtirolmobil-network, but also allows you to visit numerous museums, art collections and tourist attractions. Ask your accommodation provider or tourist offices for more information.

How does the Südtirol Guest Pass look like?

  1. As paper ticket linked to the period of guest's stay and is therefore valid for a maximum of 7 days from the first validation (whole calendar days). In the case of stays longer than 7 days, the accommodation facility will provide the guest with an additional Südtirol Guest Pass;
  2. Ticket as digital PDF for mobile devices (smartphones) that you can use directly from your smartphone or print out and take with you in paper form;
  3. Digital pass to be added in the so-called "wallet" on your smartphone (e.g. in Google Wallet, Apple Wallet or a similar mobile app).

How do I use my Südtirol Guest Pass?

Before each journey, you must validate your Südtirol Guest Pass at one of the blue ticket machines located in railway stations, buses and cable cars. Simply hold the QR code on your pass close to the bottom of the ticket machine and wait for the validation signal.

  • Is the Pass valid? A green OK appears on the screen and an audible signal confirms validation.
  • Is the Pass invalid? A negative response will appear on the screen and the ticket will be considered invalid.

Where can I not use my Südtirol Guest Pass?
