When you fancy a stroll through the Christmas markets in the city centre, a day trip to the picturesque Renon/Ritten plateau or a quick visit to friends or family, heavy bags and suitcases can be a bit of an inconvenience. The luggage depot at Bolzano/Bozen train station will hold items of any kind and safely store your belongings for a small fee.
Located right next to the main entrance on platform 1, the privately-run Depot Basecamp Dolomites storage facility is open daily from 9 to 18. Reservations are not required, and rates are the same as at other Italian stations: EUR 6 per piece of luggage for the first 5 hours, then EUR 1 per piece for each additional hour. Special rates are available for longer storage periods.
